We went through the actress' Instagram page where she put up a photo of a battered woman writing, "Say no to domestic violence.Only a Coward hits a woman! REAL MEN don't HIT!".

Pulse has reached out to the actress' rep but they refused to speak to us. According to her rep, "they have no comment."

REAL MADRID: BENZEMA MUST BE SOLD THIS SUMMER AS REAL MADRID GET OUT OF JAIL AGAIN

The Frenchman failed to score yet again as Marcelo came to the rescue late on against Valencia, proving it is time to sell the No.9
When Real Madrid have needed a hero this season, Karim Benzema has been nowhere to be seen.
Usually, it has been Cristiano Ronaldo who has flown to the rescue. Last week, with Madrid’s Champions League hopes in the balance in extra time against Bayern Munich, he proved decisive with a clinical hat-trick at the Santiago Bernabeu to take his total tally in the quarter final tie to five goals.
On Saturday, Ronaldo once again played a key role. Madrid were labouring against Valencia in the capital in what was a must-win game for the home side following last week’s Clasico defeat to Barcelona.
The visitors missed two early chances – Santi Mina hitting the post in the first minute – before Ronaldo settled the nerves as he always does. His intelligent run from left to centre saw him dart in front of Ezequiel Garay to nod home a trademark header from Dani Carvaj…

PDP Crisis: Sheriff pulls out of Jonathan’s reconciliation move on crisis

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff said he was pulling out the reconciliation move of the former President Goodluck Jonathan to resolve the party’s leadership crisis.
Sheriff in a statement signed by his Deputy National Chairman, Dr Cairo Ojougboh issued on Thursday in Abuja, said this was to enable his led National working Committee (NOC) to  focus on repositioning the PDP.
He said that the reconciliation moves initiated by Jonathan had finally collapsed, alleging that the move had been hijacked by the Sen. Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee.
“We are opting out and focusing our efforts at making the party the darling of Nigerians again.
“We had made tremendous progress before former President Jonathan was asked by party leaders to convene a meeting where stakeholders will adopt the governor Seriake Dickson’s Committee report on reconciliation.
"Unfortunately, former president Jonathan lost control of the meeting he convened and allo…

The Presidency says there is no need for apprehension over the health of President.

President Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu stated this in a statement on Thursday, April 27, 2017.
Shehu noted that the president was eager to work but doctors have asked him to slow down.

He stated that President Buhari receives daily briefing on activities in government from his vice, Yemi Osinbajo. The statement reads:
“The Presidency hereby assures the good people of Nigeria that, despite the insinuations of a number of media organisations, there is no need for apprehension over the health of our President, Muhammadu Buhari.
“President Buhari’s absence at the Federal Executive Council meeting of Wednesday, April 26, was a last minute decision; otherwise, the cabinet and the public might have been alerted in advance. As eager as he is to be up and about, the President’s doctors have…

Tinubu: 'Saraki, El-Rufai convinced Buhari not to pick me as VP', APC leader says

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has revealed how some members of the party worked against him in the build-up to the 2015 elections.

He said the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State frustrated the plan to make him (Tinubu) President Muhammadu Buhari's running mate in the presidential election.
Tinubu said other chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, who had defected to the APC, were also part of the gang that pressured Buhari not to pick him.
The ex-governor of Lagos State disclosed this in a book titled 'Against the Run of Play,' written by Segun Adeniyi, the Chairman, Editorial Board of ThisDay.
Tinubu said his opponents convinced Buhari using religion - that a Muslim-Muslim ticket could cost the party the election.
But the APC leader said the argument was not genuine.
He said  El-Rufai was pushing for Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly to be picked as Buhari's running mat…

Goodluck Jonathan: 'Obama made it clear he wanted me removed,' Ex-president says

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has revealed that the immediate past US president, Barack Obama, desperately wanted him removed from office.

Jonathan said Obama made it clear that the US wanted a change of government in Nigeria.
The Obama administration was unsatisfied with the way Jonathan handled the fight against corruption, Boko Haram insurgency and the rescue of the kidnapped Chibok school girls, it was learnt.
It is believed that it was based on these reasons that the US at the time placed an arms embargo on Nigeria.
Although the US cited gross abuse of human rights by the Nigerian army as the reason for its decision.
President Donald Trump has reportedly lifted the embargo, with plans underway for the US to sell fighter jets to Nigeria to further advance the anti-Boko Haram war.
In a new book written by Segun Adeniyi and titled 'Against the Run of Play', which chronicles how Jonathan lost the 2015 presidential election, the ex-president said Obama influenced UK and …

EFCC: Anti-graft agency may declare Niger ex-Commissioner wanted over N6bn discovery

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it may declare a former Commissioner of Local Government in Niger wanted after a further N2 billion was traced to his UBA account by the agency.

EFCC sources on Friday in Abuja said that the‎ ‎discovery brought to N6 billion, funds traced to accounts held by the politician and companies linked to him.
The Commission had some weeks ago traced N4 billion to two accounts in GTBank, both linked to him. ‎
The first account belongs to Sadiq Air Travel Agency Ltd. and the second belonged to him.
Sources at the Commission, however, said that the politician who was a governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 election has been elusive.
He is on the run and all efforts to track him down have been futile. The next option left for the Commission is to declare him wanted,” the source said.
The source further disclosed that investigations so far pointed in the direction that the funds were siphoned from the Local Gove…

Other party leaders Frank appealed to in a statement on Friday in Abuja, included Sen. Bola Tinubu and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
He pleaded with the leaders and other stakeholders to urgently salvage the party.
Frank was reacting to the postponement of the party`s National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings by its National Working Council (NWC).
The party’s NWC through a statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, on Thursday announced the postponement of the meetings citing “unexpected developments“ as reason.
It said that new dates for the meetings would be announced in due course.
Frank, however, blamed the postponement of the meetings on the lack of trust from the party leaders on Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the party’s Natio…
